Coach or Manage: Help Us Shape Young Athletes!

Strathmore Soccer thrives because of dedicated parents like you. Our program is a parent-coach-led initiative, meaning we rely on volunteers to fill essential roles as coaches and team managers.

Each team needs two coaches (Head and Assistant) and a Team Manager. This ensures every child gets the attention and guidance they deserve.

New to coaching? No problem! We're committed to your success. You'll complete required training, and Strathmore Soccer will fully reimburse all your coach training expenses after just two seasons of volunteering. We want you to grow with our players!

Plus, you'll get access to our Coach Manual App, a fantastic resource packed with age-appropriate training activities, clear instructions, and even video demonstrations. You'll have everything you need to lead engaging practices.

SSA House League - U10/U11 Development Program

The Strathmore Soccer Association (SSA) House League U10/U11 Development Program is for players born in 2015 (U11) and 2016 (U10). This program focuses on skill development in a fun, in-house environment right here in Strathmore.

Program Details

This 20-week full season program includes 20 practices and 20 games.

• Practices: Dates and times are To Be Determined (pending Sports Center allocation). All practices are held at the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Center.
• Games: Games are played on Saturday afternoons (time TBD) at the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Center. Match formats will vary, focusing on different aspects of the game. Teams will be divided based on attendance on game days.

Girls' Team Initiative

We're actively working to form a girls' team to register in the CMSA girls' league, and we strongly encourage all girls to register. If we don't have enough registrations for a dedicated girls' team, players can choose to withdraw or join our successful Coed team in CMSA's boys' league.

Program Fee: $570 - a payment plan is an option at the time of checkout.

• Late Registration Fee: An additional $50 will apply for registrations after September 30.
• Mandatory Fundraiser Fee: $99
• Opt-out Volunteer Fee: $100

Mandatory Game Day Kit

All players must have a Strathmore Soccer Game Kit, including a jersey, shorts, and socks. Returning players can reuse their kit if it's in good condition. If you need a new kit or don't have one, it must be purchased at registration for $56.70. Please note, numbers are assigned randomly and cannot be guaranteed.

A RAMP admin fee will be charged for credit card processing.

Important Note: In-House Program

This is an in-house league and not a District League. Based on feedback from the outdoor season, our board has decided to keep this indoor program in-house and will revisit the District League model for future outdoor seasons.

SSA CMSA City League - U10/U11 Development Program

Ready for a new challenge? The SSA CMSA City League is perfect for all players of all skill levels looking for a more dynamic and diverse soccer experience. You'll gain valuable exposure by playing in the Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) League, which means more teams and varied competition at your age level.

All your games will be played in Calgary, while all practices remain conveniently located right here in Strathmore at the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Center.

Since CMSA controls the game schedule, we won't know the exact game times until they go live on the CMSA website. But don't worry, we'll schedule practices around the games to ensure a balanced and effective season for everyone!

• Girls Team Priority: We aim for a dedicated girls' team. If not possible, we will create a successful Coed to team that joins CMSA's boys league, or a full refund will be provided upon request.
• All Skill Levels Welcome!
• Calgary League Advantage: More diverse competition, all games in Calgary.
• Strathmore Practices: Conveniently located at the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Center.
• Game Schedules: Set by CMSA, released October 6. Games begin October 14. We'll adjust practices accordingly

• Jersey:
• All players must have a Strathmore Soccer Sublimated Game kit, including Jersey, Shorts and Socks. Returning CMSA players can reuse their kit if in good condition. If your kit needs replacing, or your player doesn't have one, you will need to purchase one at the time of Registration for $102.90 for a full kit, or $63  for a replacement jersey.
