Strathmore Soccer thrives because of dedicated parents like you. Our program is a parent-coach-led initiative, meaning we rely on volunteers to fill essential roles as coaches and team managers.
Each team needs two coaches (Head and Assistant) and a Team Manager. This ensures every child gets the attention and guidance they deserve.
New to coaching? No problem! We're committed to your success. You'll complete required training, and Strathmore Soccer will fully reimburse all your coach training expenses after just two seasons of volunteering. We want you to grow with our players!
Plus, you'll get access to our Coach Manual App, a fantastic resource packed with age-appropriate training activities, clear instructions, and even video demonstrations. You'll have everything you need to lead engaging practices.

The SSA CMSA Team League is perfect for all players of all skill levels looking for a more dynamic and diverse soccer experience. You'll gain valuable exposure by playing in the Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) League, which means more teams and varied competition at your age level.
All your home games will be played in Strathmore and your away games in Calgary and surrounding area, all practices and games remain conveniently located right here in Strathmore at the Ranch Market Soccer Fields.
Since CMSA controls the game schedule, we won't know the exact game times until they go live on the CMSA website. But don't worry, we'll schedule practices around the games to ensure a balanced and effective season for everyone!
- Girls Team Priority: We aim for a dedicated girls' team. If not possible, we will create a successful Coed to team that joins CMSA's boys league, or a full refund will be provided upon request.
- All Skill Levels Welcome!
- Calgary League Advantage: More diverse competition, all games in Calgary.
- Strathmore Practices: Conveniently located at the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Center.
- Game Schedules: Set by CMSA, released April 20. Games begin April 25. We'll adjust practices accordingly.
Coaching & Volunteer Opportunities
This program is a parent-coach-led initiative. We rely on dedicated parent volunteers to serve as coaches and team managers.
- Each team needs two coaches (Head and Assistant) and a Team Manager.
- Coaches must complete required training. Strathmore Soccer believes in investing in our coaches and will fully reimburse all coach training expenses after two seasons of volunteering with the club (upon submitting receipts). We hope you'll stay and grow with our players!

- Registration Deadline March 27, 2026
- CMSA Teams are Registered on March 29, 2026
- Mandatory Parents Meeting April 21, more information coming soon
- Team Practices begin April 13th. Practice Schedule for April 13-April 24 will be out by April 5th
- First Games begin April 25, 2026
- April 27th Practice schedule released for practices between April 22 and April 24th
Program Fees - $440 -a payment plan is an option at the time of checkout
- Players born in 2014 are U12
- Players born in 2013 are U13
- Players born in 2012 are U14
- Players born in 2011 are U15
- Players born in 2010 are U16
- Players born in 2009 are U17
Other Mandatory and Optional Fees
- Late registration fee after April 30 - $50
- Mandatory Fundraiser Fee $105
- Uniform:
- All players must have a Strathmore Soccer Sublimated Game kit, including Jersey, Shorts and Socks. Returning CMSA players can reuse their kit if in good condition. If your kit needs replacing, or your player doesn't have one, you will need to purchase one at the time of Registration.
- Volunteering is mandatory, the team can not operate without the cooperation of parent volunteers.
