NEW: There are a few things we are changing up this outdoor season

  1. As with many clubs, our organization is based on volunteerism; in fact without it, there wouldn't be soccer in Strathmore. As such, we are implementing a mandatory volunteer points system. To opt out  of volunteering is $100, the funding from this fee will help cover the costs of paying wages for an individual to get the tasks completed. If you opt to volunteer to earn 20 points throughout the season, you may choose from a full point coverage task, or to choose to pick up tasks as they are presented on the app. There will be some full point opportunities  of opportunity to help out in small ways, making a huge positive impact on our organization.

~ Volunteers will submit a $100 POSTDATED (For July 1, 2024) cheque to be returned upon completion of volunteer points. On the chance that a family has not participated in volunteer opportunities, at that point the cheque will be deposited. If you would like to leave the date blank, I will return the cheque and it can be reused for future seasons.

  2. Our soccer club will be doing a mandatory fundraising event (possibly beef jerky). Everyone will get an order form, and the opportunity presell your fundrasier items and earn back this Mandatory Fundrasier Fee.

This is the U10/U11 Grassroots Development Program for our District League, this is will be a transition to PARENT COACH led program; here we will see players practice and play home games in Strathmore, and away games in different communities or locations (locations, Dates and Times are TBD).

  • Coach Requirements:
    • This is will be a transition to PARENT COACH led program
    • We will need parents to volunteer as coaches and to travel with the team
    • Coaches will be required to complete coaches training
      • Strathmore Soccer recognizes the importance of investing in our coaches. We will fully reimburse all Coach Training expenses after a coach has volunteered 2 seasons with the club. Of course we hope our coaches will stay longer and progress with their players, learning and developing as they go!
    • Each team will need both a Male and a Female Parent coach
    • This is Mandatory, if we do not have coaches, we do not have any teams to play your children on

Program details:

  • There will be 2 sessions a week for this program, a practice day and a game day,
    • 2nd practice maybe be scheduled, but this is at the Coach's discretion and availability
    • 10 Week season
